Quilting fun for family and friends!

Christmas in July

I have been so bad at posting my quilts in a timely manner. This is a son-in-law quilt. Ta-da! All three are now finished and gifted.
I had different plans for this quilt that I had been saving. You know, the fox with the bow tie, too cute. However when I saw the Volkswagen Van material all plans changed. I bought the material, leafed through a magazine and found a pattern and sewed it up.
Grandson is modeling the other birthday gifts.
Love when a quilt comes together like that!
Made gluten, dairy and sugar free muffins for thanksgiving. They were delicious. Served them with apple compote.
Also made a sugar free plum compote with prune plums.
We had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. I can see why you just had to use that fabric! It's fabulous :)

Congrats on finishing this neat quilt. Red and white always work together. I'm sure your SIL will love it!
