A Finish

I finished a baby quilt this week. Love it. I went on a retail therapy trip and came back with a selection of fabric I had no idea what to do with. Erg! Inspiration struck. Yeah!

The feathers as a background is fabulous! Love it with the dots. Gifted and already loved by the mom. She really like bold colours!

  3. Cute! Great fabrics for a baby quilt. I always want to use white as a background but worry about staining. That busy print will hide any of that!

  4. Great job on piecing that directional fabric you have really picked wonderful fabrics to go with it strong so that you see the background fabric as the background fabric! I love how it turned out always learning on what other quilters do to create! thanks for sharing

  5. I never imagined that the background was that fabric! How wonderful the whole quilt looks, from a distance and close-up.

    1. Hi Susan, thanks for visiting. I just bought it because I loved it. Just happy I could use it and not just have it sit there. Not sure if you know you are a no reply blogger.
