Oh how I love Christmas! The decorations, the lights, the music and the food. It is January and I gained 5 pounds in December. This is so not good! I used to put greenery along the top of the counters but now I don't want to move my fabric stash!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1sYXHd7GTqfXaKyLDL5yW3_5vIolV8fpY1ikPrEwwMp4kkJhYPHqvvjclNbCxIwaIB5vUT9biB9OGwTe6Rh-p1Ov_XFtn6BMOk4Caf6FgKH0szBP_TmD1xQUUMCV_g1mETGqF3pgRYcKd3OEhhNhTlTQtQ4eJ4Az5ruEZKtbauz32ul6lS0H_mctH/s640/IMG_3020.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1sYXHd7GTqfXaKyLDL5yW3_5vIolV8fpY1ikPrEwwMp4kkJhYPHqvvjclNbCxIwaIB5vUT9biB9OGwTe6Rh-p1Ov_XFtn6BMOk4Caf6FgKH0szBP_TmD1xQUUMCV_g1mETGqF3pgRYcKd3OEhhNhTlTQtQ4eJ4Az5ruEZKtbauz32ul6lS0H_mctH/s320/IMG_3020.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-m2RA1Svd6CG9xptmmVFi6seydNX0JkXob23mJBukwuCnx1-jHNIbHdjOZIIR7S3inVSZfuUWM2kcV30LFQ085IVI8_lH998T2Au0tZP2ID9oZvWmC0if-IMlLwCwnJaqig2nvPXfgLFDYLpoDsB5tHaavZGG2wpIZnkhEWWZsNvIxPokY8rNXNgN/s640/IMG_3035.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-m2RA1Svd6CG9xptmmVFi6seydNX0JkXob23mJBukwuCnx1-jHNIbHdjOZIIR7S3inVSZfuUWM2kcV30LFQ085IVI8_lH998T2Au0tZP2ID9oZvWmC0if-IMlLwCwnJaqig2nvPXfgLFDYLpoDsB5tHaavZGG2wpIZnkhEWWZsNvIxPokY8rNXNgN/s320/IMG_3035.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Ate way too much of the above. A snapshot from our walk Christmas morning with my girls.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg2LhtKAieEA4apO3xVrQrRor8A4WPMXfoGfRFHlTiBrGGb-8VsUWg2ttsaw3hBf9TNBgDT0z4rmAWbZ6TzUzUKCMoMiOmHliROX7RZDLcnlPLLSZZIWsP_CGsXCfImc_nOKEYcH1jUqZded8ly3eZQrScBSmelB4BYhdfNaxBNggyhH6QBJEYnipxa=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="481" data-original-width="640" height="241" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg2LhtKAieEA4apO3xVrQrRor8A4WPMXfoGfRFHlTiBrGGb-8VsUWg2ttsaw3hBf9TNBgDT0z4rmAWbZ6TzUzUKCMoMiOmHliROX7RZDLcnlPLLSZZIWsP_CGsXCfImc_nOKEYcH1jUqZded8ly3eZQrScBSmelB4BYhdfNaxBNggyhH6QBJEYnipxa=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEibi6_JvE52kWFnrKkd6GP9KuqrLKleVjxEtCoHwi7NBQiknPvxJAlvXweb6uzwMPjds4uiWJsyb1uXJYhi9eIznGhl2PZbAi-bzeTQdO44Sxgy0VhpBRH7BmYxeXT-REDg4vdmII7ItnNyCYUOvFKMyUba7--3rEkZ8XUMJ7IER-HJL0fwuRhiPpx8=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEibi6_JvE52kWFnrKkd6GP9KuqrLKleVjxEtCoHwi7NBQiknPvxJAlvXweb6uzwMPjds4uiWJsyb1uXJYhi9eIznGhl2PZbAi-bzeTQdO44Sxgy0VhpBRH7BmYxeXT-REDg4vdmII7ItnNyCYUOvFKMyUba7--3rEkZ8XUMJ7IER-HJL0fwuRhiPpx8=s320" width="240" /></a></div><p></p><p>I have been working on finishing up projects. At least that is what I tell myself. It does not see like it is happenig. I bought a quilt for my nephew that they were selling at my LQS. It has fireside on the back. Wow is it lovely and soft, with a lovely weight to it. Very tempted to keep it, lol. I love it and feel like I got a real deal. I will send the quilt as a wedding present and this little quilt for their daughter, Nora, born the beginning of December.<br /><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjfdPFGR383X1sCvyKpYGY2SquCUGdQzALpWLtuTaX-C6ocr8AZrQVjyAzb6XvKNYeAnayCczqJjjTDLRIykvYrKNgFOYwFpYxeU9u7ePXNuVCbaeWgeoXfjpy-rXUIPtt263l3nKCQ4rQtpaHKEIS-ByUFdS4VAYNaBQZf5mQuEcTJSuHSmoPal-TH=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="589" data-original-width="640" height="295" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjfdPFGR383X1sCvyKpYGY2SquCUGdQzALpWLtuTaX-C6ocr8AZrQVjyAzb6XvKNYeAnayCczqJjjTDLRIykvYrKNgFOYwFpYxeU9u7ePXNuVCbaeWgeoXfjpy-rXUIPtt263l3nKCQ4rQtpaHKEIS-ByUFdS4VAYNaBQZf5mQuEcTJSuHSmoPal-TH=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgfcCYb7iU9ORnGe1EvLPaS0Mc414HB1hZ-YePEpNR_HBoZZWYsknvT1lFmBCZblkUHbNVmeqOl2MpiM7gnz8b0CklEBdiypeK-8upQwmAnb4TZ5trUZ9GrZd3y6KXYyC-_BE4qAWjVMTpzXLHZXYp3brm25IqkWoMBU6ZLLUPauRDK8a9gxKI1aYoh=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgfcCYb7iU9ORnGe1EvLPaS0Mc414HB1hZ-YePEpNR_HBoZZWYsknvT1lFmBCZblkUHbNVmeqOl2MpiM7gnz8b0CklEBdiypeK-8upQwmAnb4TZ5trUZ9GrZd3y6KXYyC-_BE4qAWjVMTpzXLHZXYp3brm25IqkWoMBU6ZLLUPauRDK8a9gxKI1aYoh=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiQNUYFddV5-l4cqo-DfXcwaNOvK6xq-zQPVMT7-BTvyrOHghIdeM7nZ2wrc8NLeH17nn4Vg2HXntckg8moxNa951UhSCnj7iQXL0JSPM8ElnWFI1Rpf_skjFtH8fTTXEwoH56dFGh2Uhre8XuhWzSv6BPe1Byt0mMba2Stc-9m4lXJkhGb9Rpkk-ut=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiQNUYFddV5-l4cqo-DfXcwaNOvK6xq-zQPVMT7-BTvyrOHghIdeM7nZ2wrc8NLeH17nn4Vg2HXntckg8moxNa951UhSCnj7iQXL0JSPM8ElnWFI1Rpf_skjFtH8fTTXEwoH56dFGh2Uhre8XuhWzSv6BPe1Byt0mMba2Stc-9m4lXJkhGb9Rpkk-ut=s320" width="240" /></a></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjAJfGo6kppzyJ0ll_Sff_EIGWO4ZLl8uYxnn_X4IJR2Afof77faHgLJ1va45Xc1kFyPn-LU4HvAAP1zbBqyCO9aDCzZgY_ZFFnjScJGoj6JLUnlA5sEag3Ad-6NW_fpOIawyXBgq7wv5joFYDfOmdJ3RQGiPBWNoHVlxg2b_-snV886LS-gIYIEV6G=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjAJfGo6kppzyJ0ll_Sff_EIGWO4ZLl8uYxnn_X4IJR2Afof77faHgLJ1va45Xc1kFyPn-LU4HvAAP1zbBqyCO9aDCzZgY_ZFFnjScJGoj6JLUnlA5sEag3Ad-6NW_fpOIawyXBgq7wv5joFYDfOmdJ3RQGiPBWNoHVlxg2b_-snV886LS-gIYIEV6G=s320" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiBmUDL88kpA0P844XQnjQJlosFdDBd8SOKTDK6BnAnRTTQs5GJIg_MDJhohFZrfnJj3B8RrwxxJgGQY0TzPB44O0sTLmEghb6eAMObRz6OBFh5wtfYTFxZwVfhJKltFuJrsd7ComZPh2sxUIIBj00-lrVPV0YK4gc1UuvbuMkkkrZdXru1YyAMMi5g=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiBmUDL88kpA0P844XQnjQJlosFdDBd8SOKTDK6BnAnRTTQs5GJIg_MDJhohFZrfnJj3B8RrwxxJgGQY0TzPB44O0sTLmEghb6eAMObRz6OBFh5wtfYTFxZwVfhJKltFuJrsd7ComZPh2sxUIIBj00-lrVPV0YK4gc1UuvbuMkkkrZdXru1YyAMMi5g=s320" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgw8h25rKCg-GxgE_oT50kUi8gjul9y8JWPy1W0vdMj9TBscr4U0Zr2CMtS08_7GOJQSKzhPC_Ymt7RS3-nSsOMWSFuaj8J7RxSLiKjrGHdzwXf76e8msbFUXK96ej9X18t9xr02UAMOIbv-XS_2DwjdKC-UqrRi6fACcJzMdc1b95rWX0UOW2itLlz=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="623" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgw8h25rKCg-GxgE_oT50kUi8gjul9y8JWPy1W0vdMj9TBscr4U0Zr2CMtS08_7GOJQSKzhPC_Ymt7RS3-nSsOMWSFuaj8J7RxSLiKjrGHdzwXf76e8msbFUXK96ej9X18t9xr02UAMOIbv-XS_2DwjdKC-UqrRi6fACcJzMdc1b95rWX0UOW2itLlz=s320" width="312" /></a></div></div><p></p><p>I finished a couple of tops but am not really too keen on them. I think I need a better plan. <p></p><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><p style="text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj8RX5tIuO3TleEj3aBTBPeV7xR-axhI4bMfYaQSHCq4uKCilPF4pX0RPjM8V8Or7bvTsLf5NkcGY5Gxz0q_qNdCU1idZwLM_KHD8tXC_xrGTTa6KrC51RCiL5ASzf89h8o2Yt2vvqbdqiBz5dJHCUfO2pZ-aDsq47v8tLWQLwcCdLjfPO-uSy25FK1=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj8RX5tIuO3TleEj3aBTBPeV7xR-axhI4bMfYaQSHCq4uKCilPF4pX0RPjM8V8Or7bvTsLf5NkcGY5Gxz0q_qNdCU1idZwLM_KHD8tXC_xrGTTa6KrC51RCiL5ASzf89h8o2Yt2vvqbdqiBz5dJHCUfO2pZ-aDsq47v8tLWQLwcCdLjfPO-uSy25FK1=s320" width="240" /></a></p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p> Maybe one Christmas thing a month? or just keep going so it is already for next year? <br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhHAgcYW8qNtewV1cy5f9E7-ybF-rKjmiYo4QUxeS40ApYECJMpX15LN5deNNE36IgnLDBqp4GD2-xJNbDCgVXp6nSqQbcukhieN2L5plZdQIDBT9hGynS7dmii9LUseWv4SMj42X2KEwcUKwcdBuSKDVUVcGcS_4on8_PHD_SFt9HtyAd-728ZarX6=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="607" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhHAgcYW8qNtewV1cy5f9E7-ybF-rKjmiYo4QUxeS40ApYECJMpX15LN5deNNE36IgnLDBqp4GD2-xJNbDCgVXp6nSqQbcukhieN2L5plZdQIDBT9hGynS7dmii9LUseWv4SMj42X2KEwcUKwcdBuSKDVUVcGcS_4on8_PHD_SFt9HtyAd-728ZarX6=s320" width="304" /></a></div><p></p><p>That being said I have not started my Christmas sewing, lol. The mind goes off and the fingers follow. I have started lots and finished none. And I can tell you that creates a huge mess in the quilting area, and the surrounding space. The Kaffe quilts are the remaining 2 of 4. I do think I am going to cut more squares. One quilt was to be green and it is looking decidedly blue. Sigh! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9lNSFWc4ubrFf5_xAxqNvSZOz111uFgowecDbwLLCmdvq86yClAbApXpNdJPD515GZMIh1yNQM_mSuWiPMrL4LxmGZTIG5wMnq-yhyl-zQNBZazu1nWbxywjeVyjdqEo_e694H43VmVg/s640/IMG_1813.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="563" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9lNSFWc4ubrFf5_xAxqNvSZOz111uFgowecDbwLLCmdvq86yClAbApXpNdJPD515GZMIh1yNQM_mSuWiPMrL4LxmGZTIG5wMnq-yhyl-zQNBZazu1nWbxywjeVyjdqEo_e694H43VmVg/s320/IMG_1813.jpg" width="282" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqxy6IrpbOGvsX4dw1Pm7ZWEUlmjtsugchk88M7OSgg5vym6rnhkVRGMqkvxvI1KAmIe8p9rvtuX6yRfT-qsFmEgImHjjJhp8JfdUJTQflnlaaQYdoddxkSLs00XKZqBmsSHpM6aNF5lk/s640/IMG_1814.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="561" data-original-width="640" height="281" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqxy6IrpbOGvsX4dw1Pm7ZWEUlmjtsugchk88M7OSgg5vym6rnhkVRGMqkvxvI1KAmIe8p9rvtuX6yRfT-qsFmEgImHjjJhp8JfdUJTQflnlaaQYdoddxkSLs00XKZqBmsSHpM6aNF5lk/s320/IMG_1814.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>And I went to my LQS. Who ever thought that was a good idea I have no idea. I bought all kinds of material that I loved but do not need. I have enough fabric for my lifetime I am sure. Oh well, I did have fun!! As I have a new baby in the family I bought material for her Christmas quilt. I make one that is 2 peices of fabric, one quilting fabric, the other flannel, and make a special blanket they can use for the season. It is a big hit!!!I used to make stockings but am not sure if I am still doing that or not.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifYLNXlF0XAaHQopiLTX-g_lsDVOC5wacWVgEFL25oAv924DPTkgYedIpz9j_bh9-4ME6BQ9NgMNAgaIH6T0K8r-7LRbqitIeyV-uNQHQTU4DyEe8lX9N2UgIOZZcyZx_OCu75577X0kY/s640/IMG_1815.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifYLNXlF0XAaHQopiLTX-g_lsDVOC5wacWVgEFL25oAv924DPTkgYedIpz9j_bh9-4ME6BQ9NgMNAgaIH6T0K8r-7LRbqitIeyV-uNQHQTU4DyEe8lX9N2UgIOZZcyZx_OCu75577X0kY/s320/IMG_1815.jpg" width="159" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheFNdp9PYtSDo9htbKY0vQx8nbbBcaYAuOOiSolOt0KLOuVv6MDT8Wt4B55oIxyKINWu1ZHTrO-NOplE9h7XqJefIaILHK2ylj4PJRHeeyAKAcTl1vpyk_7M-RC3OjyKo5ol5Rp_KxFls/s640/IMG_1817.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="342" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheFNdp9PYtSDo9htbKY0vQx8nbbBcaYAuOOiSolOt0KLOuVv6MDT8Wt4B55oIxyKINWu1ZHTrO-NOplE9h7XqJefIaILHK2ylj4PJRHeeyAKAcTl1vpyk_7M-RC3OjyKo5ol5Rp_KxFls/s320/IMG_1817.jpg" width="171" /></a></div>And into November we go!!<br /><p><br /></p>Pam @ Quilting Funhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14562116355849743211noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-862270331518713768.post-8477743648961752552021-07-16T11:55:00.000-07:002021-07-16T11:55:28.182-07:00Economy Block WIP 4<p> Yay!! to terrific Bee Mates. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrWDF0Y0DMissleXvQi8JKLS0MMYcvZuuyynFnUdCYQYwC4ZOqA4JNZsTWonw6fy_DFjd-kEfIVfQHe38jB8I8uS6S_uqRsmWPIe2de3B55k38-F7txsgELJFQikMTT_3KRdURF9406UU/s640/IMG_1625.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrWDF0Y0DMissleXvQi8JKLS0MMYcvZuuyynFnUdCYQYwC4ZOqA4JNZsTWonw6fy_DFjd-kEfIVfQHe38jB8I8uS6S_uqRsmWPIe2de3B55k38-F7txsgELJFQikMTT_3KRdURF9406UU/s320/IMG_1625.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzgi4o6-3dUnPS9CT4dHKI82jKbQOTj3KwjGg4Ha3Xkc-q3txPgxj0ksvXkeK2r6l-cFvElx3NlOS_tS_PfeAmj312JxORCodKbUrOl0ZoqSnIZ__FpomwaMgdkswAVkU89PY3T-G231k/s640/IMG_1627.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzgi4o6-3dUnPS9CT4dHKI82jKbQOTj3KwjGg4Ha3Xkc-q3txPgxj0ksvXkeK2r6l-cFvElx3NlOS_tS_PfeAmj312JxORCodKbUrOl0ZoqSnIZ__FpomwaMgdkswAVkU89PY3T-G231k/s320/IMG_1627.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6tcqS9Y9UF1xhYNVt8O_tU6cjBvEHF5q5EUddxtbRrXIOKqEjK5au_6LBC9vD-Wa1FIQnW_JhWnm0LJyO_WQFToKvEEvzzBDAqEFtK317WkLKHbAqeOD0kTlnDQiiN_ggd7H32sJW-8k/s640/IMG_1628.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6tcqS9Y9UF1xhYNVt8O_tU6cjBvEHF5q5EUddxtbRrXIOKqEjK5au_6LBC9vD-Wa1FIQnW_JhWnm0LJyO_WQFToKvEEvzzBDAqEFtK317WkLKHbAqeOD0kTlnDQiiN_ggd7H32sJW-8k/s320/IMG_1628.jpg" /></a></div>There are so many great fabric bits in this quilt. I asked her if she wanted a quilt. The answer was yes. Her colour preferences were autumn. Hmm what do I have in yellows, browns and golds. Kaffe Fassett to the rescue. His fabric is a favourite of mine for family quilts. It feels like awhile since I had visited my stash, they were better than I remembered. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsJ6YTR0X97l9lcLmi7F-sm14GTqPlGW8velo-CDZEfl9pIYsXMGbe-8o4LcajQ1k7Xe2zYW2XjJijiEXyO4ShiVruyZdE28_xc3Yy_1A6GBsMC9aVfCtbrfmeo7HsAudMRDkSfj0ol0A/s640/IMG_1635.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsJ6YTR0X97l9lcLmi7F-sm14GTqPlGW8velo-CDZEfl9pIYsXMGbe-8o4LcajQ1k7Xe2zYW2XjJijiEXyO4ShiVruyZdE28_xc3Yy_1A6GBsMC9aVfCtbrfmeo7HsAudMRDkSfj0ol0A/s320/IMG_1635.jpg" /></a></div><p></p><p>I put this together from some pre cut squares I had from some project I do not even remember (note to self, please include a note or pattern with cut bits). So I am a little behind in my posting and my quilting.</p><p>I pulled fabric for 3 adult nieces quilts. I have quite the stash of Kaffe Fasset, however I ordered a ton more fabric. And I decided to make the nephew a quilt too. I should have kept with the make one quilt idea. I am having difficulties focusing and getting them done.</p><p>Of the fabric I ordered I have now misplaced the piece I need to finish off the blocks, grr.</p><p>I am taking the opportunity to put the binding on a few quilts I sent to my cousin for long arming. She does amazing work.</p><p>This quilt has been a top for quite awhile. It is Cuzco by Kate Spain. Loved it then, love it now!!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSo4imv1iiNmmVDy-tim3AFDEDfR7faF-8_UYit-TR2hBiXbuDg5J73uWVoBssxiKi2kjT7bUQYA0vmztKX4o722iDt_Awpoi4t6gcjrdujEbDk6xar5kf23U84YBd4XBGL4ygGQBNF2o/s640/IMG_1594.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSo4imv1iiNmmVDy-tim3AFDEDfR7faF-8_UYit-TR2hBiXbuDg5J73uWVoBssxiKi2kjT7bUQYA0vmztKX4o722iDt_Awpoi4t6gcjrdujEbDk6xar5kf23U84YBd4XBGL4ygGQBNF2o/s320/IMG_1594.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRL4Ncagcj8_V9xd1cpjeM_FrFTgas2fNawZbBd7lnKlyGBVUpg0ovQu-2hgEm_RPTBkE-oaripnwtwSVtPK-MtNgovsh-8QRF0NjGxibagJlUehV3wgS24z8kOTlCpj6GufEuZeInfQc/s640/IMG_1602+%25282%2529.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRL4Ncagcj8_V9xd1cpjeM_FrFTgas2fNawZbBd7lnKlyGBVUpg0ovQu-2hgEm_RPTBkE-oaripnwtwSVtPK-MtNgovsh-8QRF0NjGxibagJlUehV3wgS24z8kOTlCpj6GufEuZeInfQc/s320/IMG_1602+%25282%2529.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKa-lx-tAVn3F7Jrlvq_lN3TLWbycd2_8VvW5Xyw5uTM9QTskgtJkqqvCOOm6ynX8j6UetVNlUFdFQ1H9W8A400tGdOULD8LP12kKOk-DAUY3q2l87qZcdO0DJMnAYwVJn56mGXQfbHWU/s640/IMG_1603.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKa-lx-tAVn3F7Jrlvq_lN3TLWbycd2_8VvW5Xyw5uTM9QTskgtJkqqvCOOm6ynX8j6UetVNlUFdFQ1H9W8A400tGdOULD8LP12kKOk-DAUY3q2l87qZcdO0DJMnAYwVJn56mGXQfbHWU/s320/IMG_1603.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirHh5gP_GbffpnVVmotFMGNJJ2HzDCSER2hm_Bita66K4SCardf0W_h_YNBJVM0driaInr7teFpoe-Quswz-0wpaQKe6ExZ1T_m2_arDm7upHbxVzqBAW8VRzEJHPkdRggfwcj5r0-go8/s640/IMG_1604+%25281%2529.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirHh5gP_GbffpnVVmotFMGNJJ2HzDCSER2hm_Bita66K4SCardf0W_h_YNBJVM0driaInr7teFpoe-Quswz-0wpaQKe6ExZ1T_m2_arDm7upHbxVzqBAW8VRzEJHPkdRggfwcj5r0-go8/s320/IMG_1604+%25281%2529.jpg" /></a></div>The next quilt to finish up!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuFck86fQ4quGeXGmbKIaM8LDZUK5RLdKjyYf2RH35najeqCkxOlHGv_8rOKFeTQEgGPjsvUQp877Nu1tGEhGnVMZh7yIOvML0TBa2xSi6S0cp2X0bobj9mJOSt2PESvdyRwmH82K_Nrg/s640/IMG_1606.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuFck86fQ4quGeXGmbKIaM8LDZUK5RLdKjyYf2RH35najeqCkxOlHGv_8rOKFeTQEgGPjsvUQp877Nu1tGEhGnVMZh7yIOvML0TBa2xSi6S0cp2X0bobj9mJOSt2PESvdyRwmH82K_Nrg/s320/IMG_1606.jpg" /></a></div><p>I am hopeful when I clear out some of the WIP's I will find my fabric!</p><p>Gifted to Jenn and Joseph for all the help they provided at my wedding!! I have sent off the parcel to Granny and Grandad. Have not yet heard if they have received it but I mailed it 10 days ago (feeling virtuous). I made Christmas Cookies last night, Speculaas, and burned 2 of the trays. I am not that sad as I probably would have eaten them all (which I did), just faster. Having them slightly charred has curbed my munching.</p>I am making bowl cozies to send away. Unfortunatley I keep giving them away. Martin's daughter was here and gave 2 to her, she has been admiring them. And my cousin just fell and broke her shoulder. Seemed like it might be a good thing for her to have, either that or they will be too much to hold onto and she spills down the front. Feeling slightly guilty already and she doesn't even have them.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiQVNrhi418c0CqywZP67p6H4sB0XImeUporUUihJqBKlHVNl5MoOqo0iwJObt99-febhq-NSVrrgOB16Hz_dQTQBJavKhjoK7OzdVwq7g_IPFOsg8Cc-FPwRUtryV0WOYpB7oMOVS0S0/s320/IMG_1306+%25281%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="240" data-original-width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiQVNrhi418c0CqywZP67p6H4sB0XImeUporUUihJqBKlHVNl5MoOqo0iwJObt99-febhq-NSVrrgOB16Hz_dQTQBJavKhjoK7OzdVwq7g_IPFOsg8Cc-FPwRUtryV0WOYpB7oMOVS0S0/s0/IMG_1306+%25281%2529.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: left;">Here in BC we are to isolate and do everything in our power to stop the spread. It is Peter Pan fabric I found in my local quilt store just after she was born. Love it. So pink and pretty!<br />

The fabric is so pale and low volume, I just love it. Not my usual style but very beautiful. The pale pink row is tiny Tinkerbells, so cute!<br />

I don't go out much and have to say last time I went to the grocery store I was a little surprised, and grateful, for the procedures they have put in place. Lines on the ground outside the store so not too many people go in, sanitizing all the carts, arrows on the floor directing traffic flow and lines on the floor to exit through the cashier. I sometimes feel we are living through a movie, say "Contagion", with way more hand washing. To combat the stress I have a practice of meditation, yoga and yoga nidra. And of course quilting. Quilting is my happy place!<br />

I have been working on this quilt for years. Saw the pattern, ordered the kit, and then it sat. Then another flurry of activity to cut it all out and sew the squares. Last effort saw it as a top. It was to have been quilting and presented at Christmas but that never happened. LOL not sure why I think I can complete anything in December.<br />

This quilt was to be for his birthday but I missed it. Not by much though not sure that counts in anything but horseshoes. A tale of a 2019 quilt.<br />

I made this cute baby quilt for a member of our choir. It was for her second baby. Aneela Hoey has the best fabric ever!<br />
