A Lovely Year of Finishes -January

I am joining Sew Bitter Sweet and Fiber of All Sorts for A Lovely Year of Finishes. I have my Lady of the Lake to finish. She is almost done! I want her done, NOW! I figure if I have a goal I will not get side tracked with all the things I want to start. I am going to try to stay on target.
The top is almost finished, just needs the final border, a back and quilting. Oh and the binding that I still keep changing my mind on.

So I gather the Lovely Year of Finishes is for one item, keep it small and keep it manageable. But I also really want to finish my quilt for my daughter and Amanda.
Morgan's quilt is ready to go. Just need to sew the squares together.

Amanda's quilt required some addition on the the blocks that I had trimmed to fit the incorrect pattern.

Looking forward to finishing at least 12 projects this year! Love having a January goal! I am linking up to Needle and Thread Thursday.

  1. That lady of the lake looks quite ambitious. That is one finish that will have a strong sense of accomplishment. Good luck!

  2. Good luck with your goal! It's a beautiful quilt :) either binding would be perfect, but my vote is for the stripes!

  6. Your Lady of the Lake is just stunning! What a tough choice to make for the binding! They both look great! Yes, you are wise - keeping it to one goal per month. Hope you can stay focused and get 'er done!
